Did anybody see the TWA exhibit at the Smithsonian 150th Traveling Exhibit back in 1996? I am trying to remember what they had on exhibit. I do recall old TWA hostess uniforms, TWA embossed dinnerware used on First Class as well as a menu. I seem to recall a partia thingypit on display. It was on display for several weeks here at the now gone NY Coliseum. What was unknown to me at the time was that TWA was about to file for bankruptcy although JD Power had rated TWA as the best airline and the tragedy of TWA 800 was about to occur.
