The word integration in the title of this topic should be replaced with the word decimation to reflect today's reality in St. Louis. The latest, yet unconfirmed, word is that all TWA LLC flight attendants will be gone after July 31. Avek was right, after all.

Welcome TWAnr. It is all too sad that Nick's new message board has to start out with such a dark cloud hanging over so many of our TWA friends and comrads.
Hope all is well with you under the circumstances.
Take care,
Marky[/b]

TWAnr, I never realized that this was the extent to which TWAers have been "purged" from AA. What a disgrace on AA's part!! Your suggestion is wholeheartedly accepted - I have renamed the topic. Nick TransWorldForever

I feel sorry for the STL flihgt attendents if it will happen. We, the Israeli dedicated employees, felt what is to be sacked, losing our pass privilege and indemnities, so if it happens to our fellows colleges, be sure we are supporting them. James

Somehow i agree i am part of the AA discarded employee club since 09-03-01 but on the bright note i found another company with GREAT people just like we had at TWA as American said we are going to be one big happy family... NOT but we found out that carty is one of the biggest liars around. In any case i can now call JetBlue home again.. Good Luck To All TWA Employees..........

Well, today is the first day for AA's "new, improved" schedule at STL. I see that the flights are ridiculously full. I think that they were a bit overzealous in slashing the flights here. If you look around at their schedules between other cities, it's pretty apparent. For example, there are now as many flights between Hartford, CT and Ft Lauderdale as there are between STL and FLL?!? And Raleigh-Durham (which is less than 1/2 the size as STL and a MUCH smaller business community) has daily non-stop service to London on a 777 aircraft, no less, and we have NONE?!? What a joke. I laughed when I first saw the phrase "red headed step-child" when talking about the former TWA workers, but I really agree now (sadly) that I swear AA has a deep, ingrained prejudice against everything TWA and St. Louis. How sad that they could do what they did to all of the TWA employees and the great city of St. Louis.

HI Everybody-Fortunately for me like Jetdoc I found out that JETBLUE was to be the start of a new career for me.Been with them now for a year and loving it. I still look back with fond memories on my 37 years with TWA and happy that i never was forced to join A.A. Do remember the hearings by Senator MC'CAIN and D.CARTY saying to the Senator that all TWAER'S will have a job with A.A. but he failed to say how long.
